Baby Card for A Boy...

 Good Morning

I have made a baby card especially for some friends that are expecting their baby boy anytime soon.

Close up..

I decided to use a Turquoise blue using a Distress Oxide Ink Pad- Evergreen Bough.
I have used a 6"x6" White card base.

I cut the spotted card to fit the card leaving a white border as I usually do. I inked around the edge of the spotted card with a VersaMark ink pad and used white embossing powder, to give a distressed look, then attached to the main card. I added a contrasting striped card, slightly smaller 13cm x 11.5cm, attached to the card up to the right side of the card. Stamp the image with the ink and clear emboss. Cut the stamped image to 9cm x 7cm rectangle. I painted the hat and suit using the Oxide ink and water brush. Die cut a frame to fit the stamped image and layer over with foam. Leave a small gap of the foam, so as you can tie three pieces of ribbon to the frame. Add to the main card. Add two corner dies in the spotted card and finish with the greeting.

Craft Items I have used:-

Spotted and Striped Card.
Rectangle Straight and Scalloped Die -Set - Tonic Dies
Photo Corners- Die-namics
Wooden Stamp- Baby Boy Block- Stampendous VO63
Ranger Distress Oxide Ink Pad
White Embossing Powder - Wow!
