Father's Day Card....

 Good Morning,

Not a very good morning here in Lancashire weather wise, but a good day to be inside crafting. I have designed a Father's Day card using a Kraft 6"x 6" card.

Close up:-

Fold back the front edge of the card. Die-cut a stitched square in patterned paper 13.5cm and add to the card approx. 6cm on the fold. Die-cut two tags one in Kraft card 13.5cm x 4cm and one in patterned paper 13cm x 3cm and stick together. Make two holes at the small end of the tags and add a string bow.  Attach to the main card in the centre. Die-cut two stars, one in Kraft card and one slightly smaller in the patterned paper. Add to the centre of the tags. Add a matching button threaded with string. Cut a cream square 14.5cm square and stick to the inside of the card. Die-cut a stitched square in Kraft card 10cm and attach to the cream. Die-cut a small star in patterned paper and add to the inside top left of the cream card as in the picture. Cut three 3cm squares in the Kraft, cream and patterned paper and cut each diagonally so you have six triangles. Add these to the corners of the card as in the picture. Add the Kraft triangles onto the cream leaving a little of the cream card showing. Run a running stitch around the Kraft card using a fine-liner pen. Add a greeting to the finished card.

Baby Time...

 Good Evening,

I have designed two cards the same but, then different colours, depending on whether you require a baby girl card or baby boy card.

Close up on both cards:-

I used small 5"x 5" Scalloped white cards.

Die-cut 15 small square dies from from contrasting papers ,i.e. pink and purple for the girls and blue and beige for the boys. Attach them to the main card, 4 in a row apart from the bottom row where there are only 3. Stamp out your baby character onto beige spotted card, 8cm x 7cm using a grey Versafine Clair Ink pad. Emboss with clear embossing powder. (I have stamped an Elephant from a Lili of the Valley stamp) Colour with a fine grey pen around the Elephant as in the picture. Die-cut in a co ordinating card, the scalloped frame that fits over the stamped image. Inside frame 8cm x 7cm the outside edge being straight 10.5cm x 8.5cm. I used pink card for the girl but used the beige again for the boys card. Stick down the stamped image and then the frame on foam. I tied a few button threads around the frame which you have to do before you attach the frame to the card. Stamp out the balloon again in contrasting colour. Add a greeting at the bottom right edge of the card. Add Liquid Pearls to the shadow on the balloon and add a matching bow.

Thank You Tag Card...

 Good Afternoon.

I have designed a 'Thank you' card using a tag die-set from Little B Designs.

Close Up...

I die-cut two large tags using Kraft card. Cover the front of the tag with a coloured paper leaving a small border edge. Cut a piece of white card 15cm x 6cm and using a scalloped punch at one end of the smaller edge. Die-cut the greeting 'Thank You' from the same background paper and two Oval Scallops, to make a frame that fits over the greeting. Cut another scallop shape, the larger of the two and use as a mask over the greeting. I then stamped around the scallop shape using the Dainty Daisy, leaves and butterflies in different coloured inks. Stick the white card to the front of the tag, (taking off the mask). Tie the tag together using Button thread and finish off with the Liquid Pearls in the centre of the flowers.

Bold But Beautiful......

 Good Morning,

Bold Spotted flowers and colours on this 7"x 7" Scalloped white card.

I folded the card with the straight side at the top. Die-cut a scalloped square 14cm then emboss with a dotty embossing folder. Add to the main card. Cut three pieces of ribbon in different colours 16cm long.
Fold the ribbon and attach to the card as in the diagram so that the ribbon stalks are 8cm each and the fold at the bottom. Using a flower die, cut out in dotty paper, three matching flowers and attach to the top of the ribbon, the centre flower slightly lower than the other two. Add a ribbon bow to each of the flower stalks. Tie some button thread or string into each of the spotted buttons and add to the flower centres. Die-cut a flower or grass border and add to the bottom of the flowers. Die-cut a bunting strip (x2) and add to the top of the card.
