Happy Anniversary.....

 Hi there everybody,

I have designed an anniversary card this afternoon as I have a few anniversaries coming up next month, so I am well prepared. I haven't used a main stamp on this card but a wreath that I made myself with some thick craft wire.

Close up...

I have also added a picture of some close weave Burlap I have used on the card.

I have used a 7"x7" White card and matted it with some floral paper, leaving a narrow border around the edge. I wound some craft wire around twice, approx. 9.5cm diameter and wrapped it with cream string, tying the end into a bow at the top of the circle. Attach to the card in the centre with glue. Add a matching patterned die-cut circle in the centre, then slightly smaller one with the Burlap and then again with a smaller patterned die-cut circle stamped with the greeting. (With Love). I die-cut a tag shape in patterned paper and added the anniversary greeting. Make a hole at the start of the tag and add a small piece of string tied in a knot. Add to the card towards bottom left with foam pads. I made 2 Roses using patterned paper and the Burlap. To make the Roses cut out a circle about 5cm across. Cut around the circle approx. 1cm inside like a spiral but don't cut right into the centre. I have added a diagram below.

You eventually wrap it round from the start. I have folded over the outer edges as in diagram 2. Tightly together gluing as you go and  glue to the bottom of the circle that you did not cut. Takes a bit of practice. I made a Rose from patterned paper and the Burlap and added them to the card as in the picture. Add a few punched out leaves, corners to the top, and add a couple of folded Burlap strips to the corners. The wreath is a good idea for Christmas cards too.

Items I have used:-

7" x 7" White Card.
Floral paper from Maja Range of Florals.

Circle Die-set from Tonic
Tag Die-set from Creative Expressions CED4304
Photo Corner Dies from Die-namics.

Take care

Autumn Is Here....

 Good Afternoon,

It is a while since I last posted any new card makes, but today I have updated an Autumn card.

I have used an A6 White Card:-

Close up:-

I stamped around he edge of the card with a small background stamp. Die cut a white oblong from the A2 Distressed Edges Die using the largest. Run the die through a leaf background embossing folder. Fold a piece of Wired Hessian 15cm in length over the top of the die cut. Trim the bottom of the Hessian, tag shape, as in the diagram. Stick the Hessian to the die cut then to the main card. Die cut two leaf shapes and colour them with Autumn coloured ink Pads and then emboss them with clear embossing powder. Add them to the card. Die cut a tag shape out of Kraft card and add a greeting and then add to the bottom of the leaves. Cover with a co ordinating button with a tied string bow. Punch out three fern shapes and stick behind the button. Stamp an Autumn greeting and cut out and add to the card.
