With Love...

Just got a last card in for September, 'With Love', Crimson coloured papers from 49 And Market. Tall slim Kraft card 21cm x 7.5cm.

Close Up:-

Cut out the spotted paper to fit the front of the card leaving a small border edge of the Kraft card.
Die-cut the ribbon border with a contrasting paper (2) and join together so it fits the length of the main card. Thread a small slim piece of the spotted paper through the slits in the ribbon die. Add this to the centre of the card. Punch out three envelopes, one in the spotted paper and two in the contrasting paper.
Make up the envelopes leaving them open as in the picture. Run a running stitch around the envelopes with a white liner pen and contrasting pen. Add the envelopes to the card as in the picture, on foam. Die-cut a small card for the greeting and small foliage for the top and bottom envelopes. Add a button thread bow and heart button on the envelopes to finish off. Run a white liner pen around the whole of the card.

Another Year Older....

 Good Afternoon,

Another year older is the card I have designed today using some lovely papers from Photoplay Autumn collection.

Close up:-

White Card A5 Size:-

I cut out from the scrapbook paper a section that had the leaves at the left hand side to fit on the card, leaving a small white border edge. I die-cut three tags from the reverse of the paper 11.5cm x 2.7cm. I attached them to the card, starting 4cm from the top and finishing 6.5cm from the bottom. Spacing them evenly apart, but only attach at the beginning so that you can weave the longer tags in between. Die-cut two longer tags 17cm x 2.7cm by joining two of the tags together to make them longer. Weave them as in the picture before sticking down. Attach the coloured string to the top and bottom tags and add a greeting.

Frames And Tags- Pierced Flags- Creative Expressions CED4304

Playing with VersaMagic Ink Pads...

 Good Afternoon,

I have designed a card using the VersaMagic inks on a card that makes a nice Autumn card although we are not quite there yet. Only a couple of weeks away.

Close up:-

White 12.5cm x 12.5cm (5"x5") Card.
Die- cut a mixture of leaves, different shapes and sizes. Colour with the VersaMagic ink pads, then clear emboss them. Die-cut a circle 8.5cm across and colour with the green ink pad and clear emboss. Add the mixture of leaves as in the picture. Die-cut two scallop circles, one 5cm across (colour with the green ink and clear emboss) and one 3.3cm across for the greeting. Thread string through the holes of the small circle. Add both these circles to the centre of the card. Add a small stitch around the main card using a fine liner pen. Stamp a small leaf and acorn stamp around the gaps between the main leaves.
