Happy Mother's Day Card...

 Good morning all

I have been busy making a Mother's Day card amongst other things. I love the Sunflower stamp from Creative Expression designed by Sam Poole. I have quite a few stamps from this talented lady. The stamp set also has a small stamp in the set, for backgrounds which I have used on the inside of the card. You can purchase this stamp from my Ebay shop here.

Background stamp.

Cut down the yellow card to fit the main card, leaving a small gap at the top, to stamp the small background stamp with the yellow ink pad. Emboss the yellow card with the Daisy embossing folder and add to the card. Die-cut the rectangle and stamp the Sunflower, colour with the Promarkers. Weave the green silk thread through the holes around the rectangle. Add to the card. Stamp out the head of the Sunflower in the yellow card, cut out and attached to the main flower with foam. Add the lace border to the lower end of the card. Stamp a greeting on the sign (stamp) and cut out. Add to the card with foam. Finish off with the Liquid Pearls in the centre of the flower.

I have used a DL card (21cm x 10cm)

Textured Bubble Card For Men...

 Hi there

I thought I would make a card for the men this time, using the Textured Bubble Stamp from Woodware. It's a great background stamp that can be using in scrapbooking too. I have this stamp in my Ebay shop here.

Close up....

Using Distress Oxide ink pads- Ground Expresso, Antique Linen and Stormy Sky that go together well.

I stamped a few pieces of white card with the stamp, mixing the colours and stamping with the three colours together. Ink the middle of the stamp with your lightest colour ink pad (Antique Linen), then at either side of the stamp the other two colours (Stormy Sky and Ground Expresso). I then die-cut the shapes from the card. Four in total, using the different sizes. Ink the stamp up with the Ground Expresso and stamp at random all over the main card front, of which I have used a Kraft card. Add the first rectangle to the card vertically but before sticking down, wrap coloured string around three times. Add the other rectangles to the card as in the picture, weaving them through the string. Add a bow with the string and add the greetings.

I used a 6"x 6" Kraft Card.

Wishing You A Very Happy Day...

 Good afternoon

I have made a card for a friends birthday who likes shades of Lavender etc. Anna Marie has a collection of wood effect papers, so the Lavender one was very apt. The top half of the card has papers from the Maja Designs, of which, I don't bring out very often only to look at and then put back. I am sure you all have papers that are just to look at and not actually to use for crafting. Notice I have only used a small piece.

Close up...

I cut the wood effect paper 3/4 way up the card and rounded the bottom corners with a corner punch. Match the paper at the top and cut the corners with the corner punch at the top edge. Cut out a border from the die-set and lay across the joins. Cut out two of the bows from the die-set, one in patterned paper the other in plain, and fold together to create the bow and add to the centre of the border. In the centre of the bow I added a flower button and tie. I also added a few flower buttons on the border. Finish off with a greeting.

I have used a White 7"x5" Scalloped card.

Papers from Anna Marie Wood Collection
Maja Design Paper
Finishing Touches- Dotty Bow Die-Set By Creative Expressions- CED1412
Mixed Flower Buttons

Enjoy crafting, till next time.

Spring Bunny with Daffodils...

 Afternoon everybody,

Shaped scalloped card with a leaping Bunny. Ideal for a March or Spring Birthday card.

close up..

Side view...

I cut out the card from the die-set twice, to double up at the back and bottom. The die needs to cut through a normal folded card but make sure the die at the top is just off the folded section of the card. This keeps the two pieces still joined together. (cut out 2 ). I then cut out a separate scallop shape, on which I stamped the image, with black VersaFine and embossed with clear embossing powder. Colour  the Bunny and the flowers etc. using Promarkers. Stamp the greeting and the small bees. Add the ribbon and bow and attach to the front section of the folded card. Stamp the greenery and the Daffodils to the bottom and colour that too. Run a stitch line around the main front scallop with a fine grey liner pen.

Daffodils are coming up....

 Afternoon everybody,

Daffodils are appearing up and down, a lovely bright addition to the the grasses around us. The March flower too. Daffodil themed scrapbook paper by Graphic 45 from the Fairie Wings Collection, 'Daffodil Dance.' Plain yellow card from Kaisercraft collections- Weave. Daffodil stamp from Inky Doodles.

Landscape card cut down 4.5cm on the front section, then die-cutting the section at the front, 3cm from the end and 4cm from the bottom of the card. Use the same die-set to make the frame for the front. I covered the front with the Daffodil paper then added the frame. Attach the plain yellow card to the inside back of the card. Stamp out the Daffodil, cut around and colour in, using your preferred pens.

Add the stamped image to the card on foam. Attach a border die at the front and greeting.
